Do “fat burning supplements” really work? Only if you exercise 🏋️‍♀️

There are 2 major hormones (epinephrine and norepinephrine) that stimulate lipid mobilization in your body. It’s part of the “fight or flight” or autonomic nervous system. These hormones can only go up for a few reasons. The 2 most common are exercise and stress. In both cases, the “flight or flight” hormones release fuel for a quick energy to the muscles 💪. Also, these hormones suppresses appetite and gastric function, so we won’t be so hungry 😋. These is the basis of fat burning supplements. The higher the “flight or flight” the more fat you lose.

Caffeine is one of these stimulants that most people use as a pre-workout and a substance use as a “fat burning supplements”. It gives you a quick energy boost and suppresses your appetite.
