Weight training is crucial in managing your blood sugar and triglycerides(fat)!

On average, your muscle πŸ’ͺ stores about 300-600g of glycogen. Glycogen are carbs that are responsible in regulating our blood sugar and triglycerides. More muscles πŸ’ͺ means more carbohydrates stored as glycogen and less stored as triglycerides (fat). It also means it does not affect your blood sugar negatively.

Besides having a well balanced diet, in my opinion, it’s the best way to fight type 2 diabetes and other cardiovascular diseases.
