On average, your muscle 💪 stores about 300-600g of glycogen. Glycogen are carbs that are responsible in regulating our blood sugar and triglycerides. More muscles 💪 means more carbohydrates stored as glycogen and less stored as triglycerides (fat). It also means it does not affect your blood sugar negatively.
Besides having a well balanced diet, in my opinion, it’s the best way to fight type 2 diabetes and other cardiovascular diseases.
